Oscar TFX SAE 75W140 API GL-5 LS
Oscar TFX SAE 75W140 API GL-5 LS is a fully synthetic gear lubricant formulated from very advanced synthetic base oils and an advanced additives system. It is designed for all differentials, including where the “Limited Slip” function is required. It was developed for hypoid, bevel and spiral gears.
APPLICATIONS
Oscar TFX SAE 75W140 API GL-5 LS provides excellent low-temperature fluidity for safe lubrication during very low-temperature transmission and transaxle startup and also maintains a thick protective oil film during extremely hot operating conditions. Used in powered transmission and axle drives for cars, highway light and heavy-duty trucks, buses, and vans where an API GL-5 LS is required
PAO Polyalphaolefin
PAO oil, or polyalphaolefin, is a synthetic lubricant known for its superior performance, especially in extreme temperatures and conditions. It offers better thermal and oxidative stability than conventional petroleum-based oils.
What it is:
PAO oil is a synthetic hydrocarbon lubricant polymerising alpha-olefins, typically from ethylene.
How it's made:
The process involves synthesising oligomers from alpha-olefins, followed by hydrogenation and distillation to achieve desired viscosity grades.
ADVANTAGES
High thermal and oxidative stability: PAO oils resist breakdown at high temperatures and oxidation, leading to longer oil life.
Excellent low-temperature performance: They maintain viscosity and lubricity even in very cold conditions, ensuring good engine protection during cold starts.
High viscosity index: PAO oils have a high viscosity index, meaning their viscosity changes less with temperature fluctuations.
Low volatility: They evaporate less than mineral oils, reducing oil consumption and emissions.
Wide operating temperature range: PAO oils can handle extremely hot and cold conditions, making them suitable for diverse applications.
